Selsun Blue was struggling to carve out market share in a crowded space dominated by direct competitors with much larger media spends. We decided to give their traditional advertising approach a complete overhaul, giving their brand image a much-needed update in the process.
We took the insight that dandruff makes people feel socially uncomfortable, and created Dan Driff—the human personification of dandruff.
